Acknowledgements

I would like to thank my husband, B. Hatem, for taking the arduous task, of translating my first novel I wrote in Arabic. It probably took him as much time as it took me to write the novel, yet he persevered.

It is never an easy task to translate from one language into another, especially, when the translator, attempts to find the right and closest word equivalents in keeping the spirit of the intended thoughts intact. I hope that he has done so; as he usually does.

I would like to thank my friend, Dr. George Hanna, who was a major player in the creation of the original novel.

Also, I like to thank Margaret Saliba, among other family and friends, in assisting in various ways to bring this novel to life.

Finally, I would like to thank, my Lord and Savior, for providing me the desire and the means to write such a novel, which I am certain, will glorify His name. I hope this story will be a blessing to all who take the time to read it.
