About the Author

I am a married woman with three children all boys and three grandchildren a boy and two girls and one great-grandchild, a girl. I have always had a love for children and I served as a Sunday school teacher for four years. Most of my work background has been in the business field and sales.

I had an encounter with God in May of 2002 when He spoke to me. What He told me to do would be hard for anybody, but what I know about God is the plainer He speaks the harder it is to do.

I was inspired to write this book after I heard a man on a Christian TV program ask a question to the Host. He asked, “Don’t you have anything that explains in a simpler way like a Christian children’s book that could explain to me about salvation in Jesus Christ.” So, I asked God if He would help me write this children’s book back in 2002.

In 2009 I had an automobile accident and somewhere in between life and death the Lord spoke to me and asked me if I wanted to live or if I wanted to die. I told Him that I thought I had a work to do for Him and immediately I started breathing again. There was a man knocking on my car window and said, “Mam your gas tank has busted open all over your engine and your engine is on. Can you reach up and turn the engine off because your car is going to explode. I can’t get in to get you out because your doors are locked.” I couldn’t turn my head or see how to open the door. So by the grace and will of God I was able to turn the engine off and am alive today to finish this book.

It is my desire to reach children for Jesus Christ and give them the information and tools to accept Jesus as a child. They have so many things that are shaping their minds now to be the person that they are going to become in the future. I want them to have a chance to change this great country we live in for the good.

I am praying for God’s blessing on all who read this book. May it all be to the glory of God and His son Jesus Christ! May God touch many hearts! May He make Himself real to all who read it and bless them mightily in Jesus name.
