FINDING OUR PURPOSE : Let Us Pray

Father God, I pray that You bless us this morning

and I thank You for Your blessings.

We are Your children

and You are our God.

We give You all the honor, glory, and praise.

I pray for continued blessings.

I pray that You be with us this day.

Be with us as we go about our daily routine.

Bless us, Father

with the blessings only You can give.

Father God, You know what each of us is in need of.

I pray that You meet those needs.

Some of us are on our way to work

and I pray for traveling mercies for them.

And I pray that You make this day a glorious day for them.

This is a day that You have made

and we are gonna be glad in it.

Thank You, Father.

I pray for favor this morning, Father.

Cover us all with Your favor.

I pray also for the people in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

Touch them and give them the things they need.

Let no hurt, harm, or danger come to them.

Restore their land as only You can do.

I pray that You bless them

and us so that we can be a blessing to others.

I pray for the children, Father.

Be with them as they are on their way to school

and while they are in school.

Touch and be with the teachers, Father.

Bless them with a spirit of compassion for their students.

Let no hurt, harm, or danger

come to the teachers or students.

Father, I pray for our country.

I pray for everybody in the country.

Cover us with Your love

and build a hedge of protection around all of us.

Father, I pray for those that are non-believers.

I pray that You use us

as an example to them

of why they should believe.

I pray that You renew their minds.

I pray for those that are sick

or in pain of any kind.

I pray for healing.

I pray that You send Jesus to us

and let us just touch the hem of His garment.

I thank You for Jesus, Father.

And I thank Jesus Christ for being a sacrifice for us.

This country needs You, Jesus.

We need you to bring peace.

Thank You for Jesus, Father.

We need You, Father.

We need You every day of our lives.

Thank You, Father.

I pray this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
